Event Description
This seminar provides a hands-on introduction to manipulating images from scanners and digital cameras using Photoshop. Image resolution and color depth critical to high-quality reproduction is demonstrated as well as optimizing files for email, the web and graphics presentations. Selection methods, color correction, image assembly and photographic retouching strategies are explored, while working with transparency, mode control and image layering. Perform a variety of tasks while learning about layers, channels and paths, image clipping, dropping out image backgrounds, various masking functions and layer effects. Create custom brushes, patterns and styles and work with a variety of Photoshop library elements. Prerequisite: Working knowledge of the computer’s operating system.
