Event Description
Project justification provides a procedure for benchmarking the current cost of a part or product. This benchmark details the use of standard cost methods used to determine material, labor, machine and overhead cost. From the benchmark cost, alternative processes using advanced manufacturing technologies are evaluated for standard and actual cost comparison. These results are then applied to Return on Investment (ROI) evaluations for project justification.
